Description

Inspired by classical Taihu scholar stones found in traditional Chinese gardens, this piece transforms the organic, perforated limestone form into a solid brass sculpture. The flowing cavities and irregular contours recreate the natural erosion patterns that define authentic Taihu stones, while the weight and density of metal give it a grounded, enduring presence.

Designed to function as an incense holder, smoke rises through the carved openings, creating layered movement within the sculptural voids. When not in use, it serves as a refined desk ornament suitable for tea spaces, study rooms, or contemplative interiors.

Each surface finish presents a distinct character. The Polished Finish emphasizes reflective clarity and crisp edges. The Golden Finish offers a warmer, softer metallic tone. The Red Copper Finish introduces a deeper, reddish warmth reminiscent of aged copper surfaces.
