Description
Guanyun Peak is one of the most iconic scholar stones in classical Chinese garden culture, known for its soaring silhouette and naturally eroded cavities. This sculpture reinterprets that vertical mountain-like form in solid brass, preserving its dramatic upward structure while refining the contours for metal craftsmanship.
The elongated body creates a strong sense of height and balance, making it suitable as a desk ornament, tea-table object, or incense holder. When used with incense, smoke travels through the carved openings, emphasizing the stone’s layered structure and hollow depth.
Each finish presents a distinct character. The Golden Finish conveys brightness and decorative elegance. The Polished Finish highlights surface smoothness and sculptural clarity. The Red Copper Finish introduces warmth and a slightly deeper tone, enhancing the sense of age and material richness.
Compact yet visually commanding, Guanyun Peak brings the spirit of traditional scholar objects into a contemporary metal form.
